Traditional Hand Polished Cast Iron Radiators are polished to a high sheen on one side and the top of the cast iron radiators.
Your cast iron radiators will normally be placed up against a wall and polished cast iron radiators require oiling where they are polished to avoid oxidation. Therefore, the most common polished cast iron radiators tend to be Traditionally polished. 
Traditional polished cast iron radiators still require oiling to avoid oxidation, but the only polished elements are easily accessible.
