Electric Heating Elements

Our Electric heating elements allow you to have a stand alone cast iron radiator that doesn't need to be plumbed in. Electric Heating Elements are manufactured in Europe and are guaranteed for 5 years. Our Electric Heating Elements are available in the following heat outputs:

900Watts and 1200Watts with a 1/2 inch threaded connection.

1500Watts, and 2000Watts with a 3/4 threaded connection.

Heating elements should be fitted by a qualified electrician. Any heating element in a bathroom should be fitted no less than 60cm from a bath, shower or wash basin and never above a bath.

All heating elements require RCD protection with rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA. Heating elements must be connected to a circuit protective conductor (earth). Heating elements are required to be hard wired into your property where there must be a cut-off device applied from the mains. The elements must disconnect the radiator from the supply mains in 2 poles, with contact separation of at least 3mm.
