Cast Iron Radiators ltd are the UK's leading manufacturer of traditional radiators. All our cast iron radiators are assembled, pressure tested, finished and shipped from our North Yorkshire factory and distribution warehouse. We manufacture orders made through this website, through our international websites and on behalf of many other retailers across the UK and abroad.
We aim to ship all orders within 7 business days, however, this lead time is subject to several factors.
Firstly, demand for Cast Iron Radiators is seasonal. There are periods in the year where our production line is busier than other periods and there are periods when we are quieter. Therefore, at some points in the year we are able to ship orders considerably quicker than 7 business days and at other times we may take longer. As we manufacture cast iron radiators for many other retailers these issues can sometimes be reflected across the industry.
Secondly, whilst we maintain significant levels of stock at our two locations in North Yorkshire - stock levels do fluctuate. We have relationships with several reputable foundries who make all of our castings, we believe that we are the largest buyer of castings for traditional radiators in the United Kingdom. We only buy castings from reputable foundries with acceptable environmental standards and product control standards - lower quality products may be available quicker.
Thirdly, manufacturing processes are subject to controls and tests. All our cast iron radiators are subject to repeated pressure tests and visual inspections at various stages of manufacture - this can sometimes delay manufacturing times.
