A note about the sizes of our cast iron radiators

While we endeavour to maintain as accurate information as possible across our website, the sizes and dimension of our radiators are given for guidance only. We strongly advise you to await the delivery of your radiators before you begin installation (including 'first fit' or pipe work installation) of them, as actual sizes may vary by as much as 2.5% either way.

Our Sovereign range of radiators have a 25 year guarantee and are cast in a foundry which maintains very accurate tolerances, however some of the other radiators we stock can vary slightly in size depending upon which mould they were cast from.

We typically estimate the width of our radiators by multiplying up the width of a single section by the number of sections.  However since the sections widths we hold on file are only accurate to the nearest millimetre at best and can vary slightly from the actual width of the particular sections used to build a specific radiator, the actual width of the built radiator can be different from the theoretical width as calculated and posted on our website. The larger the cast iron radiator the larger the potential margin of error.  Moreover, sometimes the size of the gaskets used in joining the sections together can also effect the width of the radiators.

Finally to reiterate, while we do our best to provide as accurate information as possible, the sizes we provide on our website, in emails or over the phone are for general guidance only. Since Cast Iron Radiators are handmade bespoke items, we strongly recommend that you do not begin the installation of your cast iron radiators until you have received delivery of them and inspected and measured them for yourself.
